Pumpkin Patches are black with vibrant orange marks all over their abdomen and carapace. They are considered a dwarf species although they can get up to 4” dls. This is a terrestrial tarantula with males typically living 3-4 years and females 8-10 years.
Pumpkin Patches are very hardy and fast growing. They are docile, but skittish and fast. Some may be more calm. Their temperaments can be different for each one. They can kick hairs as a defense mechanism but this is rare as they prefer to run away. Slings tend to burrow while adults are heavy webbers.
They are currently about 3/4” (dls) and eating x-small mealworms. Please see care sheet under care tab.*Please note we ONLY ship tarantulas priority overnight to your nearest hub.
